Vodafone wanted a campaign as innovative as the iPhone 11, positioning themselves as a mobile-space innovator among tech-savvy Londoners aged 25-54. They turned to RYOT and Verizon Media for a solution that combined editorial activity with trending tech. So, we created Vodafone Find Unlimited: an AR scavenger hunt for Apple prizes across the London, using digital collectibles, augmented reality, and blockchain technology.

Users could join the fun on their phones, and we encouraged participation through digital media and influencer activity. Users could discover drop zones on a map and ‘grab’ prizes in AR, instantly unlocking up to 10k tech prizes, such as iTunes vouchers, AirPods and the new Apple iPhone 11.

The campaign was a huge success, trending on Twitter, and the winner of multiple awards, such as The Drum Digital Awards for Mobile, Campaign Tech Awards and Campaign Media Awards.

Vodafone Find Unlimited 2020 launched the following year, this time UK-wide and in partnership with Samsung's first 5G device. It was another huge hit, quadrupling engagement and going on to win more industry awards.
